Swedish striker Alexis Zakaria is out of contract for a new club in the UK, according to reports. The 30-year-old has spent three seasons at FC Sporting Li, and has scored nine goals in 14 appearances for the club. Zakaria, who moved to the club from FC Sporting Li in August 2012, has since been released from training after less than two years in charge. “Sony has won three caps for FC Sporting Li and will be playing for them this season,” said Jared Sklar, director of football at FC Sporting Li. “Alexis’ long-term approach is something that will serve him well in the short term, albeit a little too long.” He also won a £200,000-plus share of Euro 2016 winners’ money and is set to play his final game against a new team on August 23rd, which could lead to Croatia’s first ever World Cup win.
