In the wake of the 2027 poll, many Nigerians are now increasingly conscious of their own identity, i.e., what they have done and how they’re doing. “The Coalition led by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has intensified the quest to rally the citizens in the Northern part of the country along with ongoing strategies aimed at unseating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led government. “Today, the 3rd expanded meeting of the National Political Consultative Group (North), held at the Continental Hotel, Abuja, on Saturday, identified some challenges that beset the Northern part of the country. The ADC’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led government has been in power for 25 years and now has seized power in five years. “Everybody knows that the Northern Part of the country has never been better nor is it better than it has been today,” says one activist. “Most people in Northern Nigeria are very happy about their political choices but they do not understand that it makes them feel good about themselves. That’s why I call our allies to uphold our values and ancestors’ beliefs.”
